People all over the world have some sort of holiday ritual around Halloween. At some point in the twelve or so thousand years a huge near-global cataclysm decimated the northern hemisphere, specifically over the Americas. Humanity felt the devastating loss of “everyone,” the descendants of the survivors forgot what the day of remembering all the dead was about and some only remembered the gods required human sacrifice. Spirit is studying this ancient physical aspect of Halloween with his Taurid Meteor and Younger Dryas charts.
Materials: Reclaimed cotton woven fabric with red-orange solid and print of orange pumpkins and black cats; weight sack is same fabric. He has 2 polished, flat, geometric-cut chunk beads, possibly of malachite and lentils for weight fill, has gold eyes, and holds “Spirit’s Cataclysm Folio” of paper, glue, marker, and ribbon.
