Crystal Palm Cat Spooky with Arachne

Spooky honors the old tradition of storytelling through weaving. When language and materials become scarce, creating a story with the same fibers used to clothe the community makes sense. Repairs and additions can be made over time. Knots can be counted for memories. Arachne the spider helps Spooky pluck the threads of deep memory.

Materials: Reclaimed cotton woven fabric with red-orange solid and print of orange pumpkins and black cats; weight sack is same fabric. She has four orange-glazed coral chunk beads for weight fill, has gooseberry green eyes, holds a weaving project made of yarn, waxed string, and popsicle sticks; and comes with Arachne the spider, made of thread and tiny puff balls.
