Somehow 2021 is three years ago already! Most of these art projects are in three dimensions.
- Chakra Lotus 4” Set #1 – craft foam, hot glue, pin backings, ribbon, metal finding.
- Chakra Lotus 4” Set #2 – craft foam, hot glue, pin backings, ribbon, metal finding.
- Hemp-Lotus Hybrids 4” and 6” sizes – craft foam, hot glue. My friend is the creator of Mend Hemp, and I made these for him as a present to match the labels on his products.
- Kitteh – digital drawing with Huion tablet in gimp program. This was part of some contest on deviantArt and I wanted a cat-shaped badge for my profile, so I drew a cat roughly within the confines of their template.
- Barbie figurine custom repaint 1” size – figurine and acrylic paint. This tiny Barbie came in a hatbox keychain, and I finally repainted her so she had a face, and touched up her suit and hair.
- Totally Hair Barbie figurine custom repaint 2” size – figurine and acrylic paint. The original 1992 Totally Hair Barbie doll dresses had noticeable white lines between the color blocks. Due to the condition of my hands and the quality/size of my paintbrush, this came out a little chunky looking, but she’s small enough that she passes the two-foot test, and looks just fine on display.
- Stacie doll customization – doll, clothing, headband, shoes. I cut a little bit more bangs on this 2015 Puppy Adventure Stacie doll, gave her a headband, kept her original green dress, gave her some 1980s Skipper Swiss hose, 1997 Barbie bobby socks and saddle shoes, and a circa 1960 Barbie PAK cardigan, which is a little big on her, but is roughly what I wanted her to be wearing.
- Lady LovelyLocks Maiden GoldenWaves customization – this 1988 doll came needing some TLC. Her original hair set was long hair with a tuft of short curls coming from her crown. The hat on this 1994 Stacie doll outfit covers the disparity, and her identical body fits the outfit perfectly.
